Trehalose: Used in stabilising cells during times of freezing, drying and heating. Trehalose is part of a normal diet in mushrooms, honey, lobster and shrimp. It's role is to protect the bacterial cells during the freeze drying process. Maltodextrin: An easily digestible carbohydrate that is soluble in cold water so helps the product mix and disperse in drinks. The Maltodextrin used in KForce is derived from corn starch so contains no wheat protein or gluten.
BLIS Streptococcus salivarius K12: A naturally occuring bacteria that produces BLIS peptides which when present in a person's saliva help inhibit certain undesirable bacteria. The KForce bacteria has not been genetically modified in any way.
