Recaldent Chewing Gum is an invention by Professor Reynolds of Melbourne University. Professor Reynolds and his colleagues used a peptide derived from the milk product, casein. This peptide can absorb through the tooth surface to become new internal tooth structure. Thus it can be used to stop small decay spots and actually reverse small decay sites. Recaldent Chewing Gum comes in mint flavour. Each box comes with 20 packets of Recaldent gum. The packets contain 14 pellets each (a total of 280 pieces). |
